Bus Transfers To and From Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport

Upon arrival at Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU), passengers can choose from several ground transportation services, including rental cars, taxis, rideshares, hotel shuttle services, and public buses.

Be sure to pick up your belongings at the Baggage Claim area before leaving the airport terminal.

Buses to the city stop on level 2 of Departures Level of Terminals A, D, and E.

Public AMA Buses

Public buses are available at the Ground Transportation Center of Terminals A & D, marked with the sign "Parada."

Route: SJU – San Juan

• To Isla Verde, take bus 40 or 50, then transfer to bus 5 or 53.
• To Condado, take bus 40 or 50, then transfer to bus 53.
• To Old San Juan (Ferry Terminal), take bus 40 or 50, then transfer to bus 5 or 53.

Route: San Juan – SJU

• From Condado to SJU, take bus 53 eastbound, then transfer to bus40 or 50.
• From Old San Juan to SJU, take bus 5 or 53, then transfer to bus 40 or 50.
• From Isla Verde to SJU, take bus 53 eastbound, then transfer to bus 40 or 50.

Fares

The fare between the airport and downtown starts at $1.50 each way.

Note: No large baggage is allowed onboard the buses. Passengers are responsible for handling their bags when getting on and off the vehicle.
